Even as a third time Mom I don't mess around when it comes to car seats, there's no buying the best deal or garage sales. We scour reviews and crash test ratings for hours, replace car seats at least sign of wear despite the cost. The safety of our children is paramount, and its not an area where we cut costs. My daughter outgrew her infant car seat at 6 months so we moved into the Britax Roundabout which was incredibly sound and sturdy, and safety features built into every Britax car seat are very impressive. When you start talking about solid though, even the Roundabout has nothing on the Boulevard TSIP. We ordered this online and when we took it out of the box all we could do was stare at it. Its fully adjustable to fix a child big or small, it has the "wings" I call them to protect the head. It has metal bars welded onto the sides to provide a secondary support for a lapbelt or the latch system. You look at it when it arrives and think "how is my little girl ever going to fit that" but with all the different adjustments it fits like a glove. I won't lie to you, there are a lot of people whose main complaint is that its heavy, but heavy is what is going to withstand a crash. Honestly I wouldn't want to put my baby in a carseat that wasn't "heavy".

Daughter loves it

After lots of research, I decided on this Boulevard car seat. When the box arrived I thought that it was going to be huge. It was, but fit in my Santa Fe easily. I like the versatility to be able to have it both forward and backwards facing. We got this for a drive cross country when my daughter was not yet 1 but growing out of her infant carrier, she was very comfortable riding facing backwards as she was high enough to be able to look out the window. Now, facing forward, she also sits high and enjoys the same. I think it would really be nice if the seat cover was able to be removed for cleaning purposes. I bought the Madison print for quite a discount since it was not being made anymore and might not be willing to spend the full price. Recently bought a Graco Nautilus 3-1 for the grandparents which was more reasonably priced and just as good of quality. Doesn't sit as high as the Britax, but she still seems to like it. The Nautilus has a nice cup holder on it which makes it easier for snacks/drinks during long trips. Bottom line, Britax is a great product, but if the price is stopping you, I recommend the Nautilus.

Love It

This is my second Britax Boulevard car seat, and I couldn't be happier. We got our first one when my daughter was born 2 years ago, and it has worked wonderfully. We needed another one, but I thought that I would try a less expensive one, so I bought a Evenflo. It was TERRIBLE! My husband and I just hated it. The straps were always tangled and it was just annoying to tighten. We were in a small car accident recently and I told my husband that we might as well replace the car seat with a Britax and get rid of that waste of money Evenflo seat. I am so happy we did!

Phenomenal Seat!

My daughter outgrew her infant carrier by weight before she was 5 months old so we switched her to the Britax Boulevard RF. At around 14 months, she could not longer fit RF so we did FF and have never looked back. She loves the seat and I love the safety and convenience it provides. Even at 3 years old, she still falls asleep in the car; I would too if I had a seat this comfortable! 

Pros: 
The side Impact panels prevent her head from flopping all over the place,seat cover is easy to remove and washes great,built solid, fabric is good quality, harness easy to adjust for bulky winter coats and do not have to unhook the seat, head support easy to move up and down. Install is pretty simple once you get use to it (takes me about 2 minutes now),recline is simple, plush and very padded. 

Cons: I will agree with Abigail on the EPS,its flimsy for such an important feature.. I accidentally cracked it while removing the cover to clean (called Britax and they replaced it free of charge) and the seta itself is VERY Bulky and heavy so buy another seat when you travel. Also no cup holders but maybe thats not so bad if it keeps my car clean. 

Lastly,yes this seat is expensive, but well worth it for the safety and great features. I really have just minor complaints, I like the company and their costumer service and we love this seat. Would buy again in a heartbeat!
